Course Description
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology at Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) is a research-intensive program aimed at advancing the frontiers of biotechnology to address global challenges in health, agriculture, and the environment. The program is designed to cultivate experts capable of innovating and applying cutting-edge biotechnological solutions to enhance sustainable development and societal well-being. - A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C of Grade Point (GP) in any subject or equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
- Possess Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a related field and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
- Certificate [Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) in a related field with at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2. 00; OR
- Other relevant & equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

- Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, able to apply design and architecture to Information Technology solutions using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Demonstrate the ability to apply technical skills in real-world scenarios through hands-on projects and industrial training.
